Do you love to act and perform?
Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your on-ice performance skills in a fun and challenging way?
Our Brooklyn Blades on Ice Performance Ensemble Team is for you.
The Performance Ensemble Team is open to all skaters, who have reached Free Skate 2 and above. (There is no minimum age to join, if a skater has reached Freeskate 2 level, however, skaters must be able to follow instructions and memorize up to five minutes of challenging choreography).
Skaters do not need to be members of the Brooklyn Figure Skating Club to join.
Our team meets on Saturday afternoons from Fall through Spring. Skaters who enroll in the Performance Ensemble must be able to commit to all four Saturday LTS sessions. We will NOT accept any new skaters to the class after the first session of the season.
Skaters work towards performing routines to music of different genres and themes, (focusing on performance and acting) that will be performed at a Cleveland Monsters Game, area competitions, skating exhibitions, competitions and our annual spring show!
Participants are required to purchase a performance costume and commit to participating in team events which include exhibition performances and various competitions.
